 Great dress for plus size!!! Jun 20, 2008
I bought this dress for a cruise and was a bit apprehensive about the material. I have a very wide bottom and am told that I will have easy childbirth due to the wideness of my hips!! Let me tell you this dress covers beautifully. It does not cling and I just love it! I am going to wear to a wedding too in Sept. Very nice :)

For the price I wasn't sure about ordering it thinking that it may look cheap. But it's wonderful! I suggest if you want the dress to flow like it does in the picture get it 2 sizes bigger or else it will look like that other customer picture above with it stretched out. I got it 2 sizes bigger and it's great. I have received tons of compliments on it. Plus it's one of those dresses that you can wear anywhere!
UPDATE:
Since purchasing this dress I have had a baby! During my pregnancy I had two showers to go to and a wedding. I looked everywhere for a cute maternity dress, but just couldn't find one. I decided to see how this dress would work and it look fabulous. As you read above, I suggested buying two sizes bigger to make sure that it really flowed. With this extra room it fit my belly perfectly. I received so many compliments on the outfit. And a number of my friends who were also pregnant at the same time asked where I found such a pretty maternity dress! So yet again, another use for this dress! Now I am back to my normal size and the dress is still working great!

THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, THIS DRESS IS GORGEOUS. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT IT IS A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE WEARING IT. THE SILKY LINING AND OUTTER MESH MOVE TOGETHER IN A VERY SENSUOUS AND DAZZLING WAY. AND THE WAY THE DRESS FITS ME REALLY FLATTERS MY FIGURE. THIS IS A DRESS I ENJOY PUTTING ON.

Im 5'9 and this dress, feels heavy and it is heavy..
It dose not flatter my figure but makes me look Bigger....

I bought this dress a while back and have worn it several times. I've always gotten compliments and been asked more than once how I found such a perfectly preserved vintage dress. I really love it. It has even survived multiple trips to the dry cleaners.
My main concern when I received it was that the unfinished bottom hem would fray but so far it has stayed perfectly. The sizing was true to the waist and generous elsewhere due to the full skirt and top so if you have a smaller bust a push up bra may be in order.
