 Speedy shipping, poor quality dress. Aug 26, 2008
I bought this dress for my wedding which was will be an informal destination wedding in Barbados. The seller, ships quickly and very efficiently. I received my dress in about two days. However, the dress itself is of a very poor quality. I agree with another reviewer, it looks like a holloween costume. The design is ok and it fits well but the taffeta was the cheapest looking taffeta I had ever seen. When I got the dress I thought that it was packaged on the wrong side so that I assumed that the cheap nylon looking fabric was the lining. Imagine my shock when I unpacked it. I don't know if it is better when it is in one of the other colours but it is horrid in white. It came with a black satin sash (dispite ordering a white one) that was also of poor quality. For those of you still thinking of getting this dress.. I am a true (comfortable) size 18 and the 2x was an easy fit. It may be a little big but the lace up back helped. Forget the sash it is horrid. My opinion? You can feel comfortable purchasing from this supplier as it is super efficient but buy another dress as this one is not worth the money. I now have to buy another dress and I can't return it as I am an international cutomer. The cost of shipping it back is more than the dress.

This dress is an excellent costume quality gown.
While this dress looks elegant..it photographs like a shiny nylon parachute.
Pros: Elegant design, shipped super fast, added bonus..a matching shawl and a real high quality satin sash, and the company is very professional about handling concerns about their products.
Cons: The dress is cheaply made (super cheap nylon taffeta material, no hook at the top of the bodice to secure the zipper), sized for a misses fit (not well suited for shorter people 5'4 and under), and the bodice has wire stays that stab you in the ribs when you sit.
I actually like this dress enough to add my own additional hooks and adjustments to make it last longer.

I needed a white or black, long length gown for a local gala I was being forced to attend. I went to EVERY dress shop in town and I couldn't find a single gown that either fit, was formal enough, or didn't follow the dress code requirements. I decided to give online a try, and this was the first dress I looked at, and it was perfect! I ordered it thinking that since I was ordering it online, it would arrive near the fifth day of the 3-5 day period, but surprisingly, it arrived on the 3rd day, in perfect condition! It was neatly packaged, and there was a matching satin wrap, which wasn't advertised, and it was definitely the perfect surprise! I measured myself before ordering, and I was a little worried about ordering the dress online because I couldn't try it on before spending the money, but when I emailed the company, they assured me that the dress could be exchanged or returned in the event that it didn't fit. I ended up ordering a small, even though I was in between a small and extra small. When it arrived, I tried it on, and it was a little loose, but the dress has a built-in corset, so it can be tightened or loosened to perfectly fit! I cannot thank you enough for making me look and feel so beautiful on my special night!

I ordered this dress for my daughter for her senior prom. I measured her according to the size chart. I was nervous about ordering over the internet but thought I would give it a try.
I ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday. When the box arrived, my daughter threw it on the couch and said "I thought this was gonna be my dress!" I told her to open the box and much to our surpise, it was her dress. The box was so small we couldn't believe the dress fit in it.
This dress was absolutely beautiful! It fit perfect and nobody else was wearing a dress like it.
I would highly recommend this dress.

Love this dress. Perfect for a wedding or prom. Would definitely recommend this dress to a friend. I would suggest ordering a size up because i normally wear large and I bought an XL and it was an exact fit for me.
